VDV Commander

Cable tester locates, tests and measures coaxial, data (RJ45) and telephone cables (RJ11)
For detecting wiring errors including miswiring, open circuit, short circuit, split pairs and wiring diagrams
Detects and tests Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Measures cable length and distance to a fault using TDR (time domain reflectometry)
Four tone options available with included probe
Measure pair-conductor cable lengths up to 457 m (1,500 ft) with an accuracy of up to (±5% + 0.3 m/1 ft)
Test on one end of the cable or completely test on both ends with the Test-n-Map™ remote locator
Checks the active network (Ethernet) -- detects performance and connection speed
Locates and identifies cables with remote locators, Test-n-Map™ remote locator, link LED and tone generator
Check and detect position in one step (testing on two cable ends) with a set of twenty coax and twenty LAN/RJ45 remote units for testing and locating as well as a Test-n-Map remote unit
Multiple tone generator (4 cadences) that can send a tone over a single conductor, a pair of conductors or all conductors. Kit includes required Probe-Pro clay locator probe (VDV500-123)
Visual recognition of hubs or switches and location of cable runs with connection LED
Stores up to 256 cable or network tests; Reports can be exported and printed
