Surfaces can be made by dipping a wire frame into a soap solution, forming a soap film, which is a minimal surface whose boundary is the wire frame.

All lamps are created by stretching two layers of fabric to its extremes around bended metal profiles. Bending the rods and stretching the fabric is skilled handwork, as a result every lamp will be unique and slightly different from one another.
Once stretched, the fabric is welded on the profiles.
Through The light airiness of the semi transparant fabric one can see the attractive lines through the different layers. A copper wire can also be knitted along the length, accentuating the moiré effect and adding a warm golden coloured glow.  
The led strip (2000-3000 lumen) inside the frame  illuminates the lamp from its outer edges, equally dispersing light throughout the volume. This creates a rich moiré effect by shining through the small holes of the knitted fabric. The fabric is developed to enhance the effect, and locally produced.
