With the new XL 150, XL 200 and XL 250 Installation housings, Primo has developed all-rounders that are perfect for mounting all Special installation housings – from luminaires to loudspeakers to other built-in components. The modern membrane technology can be opened effortlessly with a cutter knife and then ensures a concrete-tight closure. The conduit grip ensures reliable strain relief and the integrated conduit stop renders bothersome and complex rework obsolete. Various Front parts in round, square or with Mineral fibre board open up individual installation options for the installer and make the XL-series an all-purpose weapon in all areas of application. In 2022 the XL-Series received the Red Dot Award for its functionality, the degree of innovation and the high product quality. This award at one of the worlds largest design competitions is considered as an international mark of excellence.

Whether for cast-in-place concrete or in the precast plant, the XL-series can be mounted on the formwork in seconds with nails, glue or magnet. With the help of the push-on wings, the Installation housing can also be attached directly to the steel reinforcement. With at least 25 entries each, the Red-Dot-Winners offer sufficient space for cables or conduits in sizes from M9 to M40, which means that pre-assembled cables can also be pulled in. Thanks to the removable cover, cables can be conveniently inserted even before concreting, and the integrated membrane sealing lip keeps the system concrete-tight. Air slots on the underside prevent cluster formation, making the XL-series ideal for use in fair-faced concrete. The standard large and additionally expandable connection space offers plenty of room for electronic components.
