An example of a circular offer currently in development is our refurbished self-contained emergency luminaires. These products play an active role in the safe and quick evacuation of people from buildings in emergencies.

We have more than 20 years of experience in ‘eco-design’ in this product area. Starting with the introduction of the first LED-based self-contained emergency lighting system into the market in 2000 and continuing the momentum to integrating ‘eco-design’ into all our emergency lighting product development in France from 2004.

Today all our emergency lighting systems have benefitted from a LCA (Lifecycle Assessment) and Eco-design, including the incorporation of LED light sources, reduced electrical consumption, and the use of optimized hardware amongst others.

After months of research looking at used products, we developed a refurbishing process for each of our luminaires and we will be launching the service to our French market in early 2024.

This circular offer consists of the collection of used self-contained emergency lighting luminaires, refurbishment of the item in our local workshop and return to the customer.
