The mega-networks of the future are built with fibre optics. The X-Blow Micro was specifically designed for the growing demand of FttB and FttH cable laying. No matter if the house, apartment or the whole building needs to be connected – the blowing system from Katimex was especially designed to meet the growing demand of optic fibre cable laying in buildings. Electricians can use the blowing system for laying cables in both FttH and FttB. The modular designed blowing system includes a manually driven feeding device, a separate blowing chamber and a compressed air unit. With a high blow-in performance fibre optic cables are brought into the empty pipe or microducts up to a length of 1500 meters. The installation process is significantly easier due to the low weight and intuitive handling of the device and the compact and light construction makes even the use in limited space possible. The X-Blow® Micro has separate blowing chambers to enable the laying of pre-assembled cables and a tool-free set-up of the device to flexibly use other cable or sub-duct combination. Only a battery powered drill with a torque clutch and a compressor is needed to use the X-Blow Micro.

More than 3.000 different hand made cable grips allow the right selection of the suitable one for power, communication and fibre optic cables up to the cable pulling of heavy supply or installation cables.

The special solutions from KATIMEX® with decoiling technology suitable for building site use make the decoiling of small and medium-size cable drums easier. Stability, functionality and short setup times accelerate the cable laying speed and support economical implementation.

Efficient cable and rope routing in the cable trench or cable shaft. Power and communication cables are often laid in open trenches. Roads and ground conditions almost always have to be taken into account, which often results in cable routes with lots of curves. In conjunction with its own weight and the high tensions involved, extreme stresses can occur when the cable cannot be fed cleanly. For this reason the use of suitable devices for proper cable guiding is normally stipulated. For this area of application KATIMEX® offers the suitable ground cable rollers and protection systems. The ground cable rollers and corner cable rollers from Katimex have particularly abrasion resistant aluminum alloy rollers. They run maintenance-free on dirt and dust-proof bearings. The robust steel frames are completely galvanized and guarantee a long working life even under extreme conditions.

All cable pulling systems feature a robust, yet flexible Polykat® glass fibre core. Therefore, they are up to 40% more shear-resistant than conventional synthetic belts. Pulling cables through empty conduits, sections with bends and under cramped conditions is also noticeably easier. You won't build muscles by pulling cables with our products, but you will save effort and preserve valuable capacities.
