The history of HELIA goes back to the last century, when the founding family of Niko in Sint-Niklaas added the production of flush-mounted sockets and switches to their product range. Today, HELIA is the market leader in Belgium in the field of installation sockets.
In 2005 the company became part of the KAISER GROUP. HELIA is headquartered in Erembodegem and employs about 50 people. With its modern production facilities and its Belgian sales team, the company continuously invests in the development of new products and the opening of new markets.
The KAISER company was founded over 119 years ago.
From today's perspective, the then young company would be described as a start-up, because the founders were already focusing on a technology that was still in its infancy at the time, with the production of components for electrical installations in buildings. After all, electrification had only just begun in Germany and the appropriate installation solutions had yet to be invented for its implementation.
Until today, KAISER has decisively shaped the history of electrical installation through ever new product developments and set standards for the entire industry.
