Saas Instruments is a lighting manufacturer from Helsinki, Finland. For us, light is a precious gift from nature and our source of wellbeing. We come from a country that is scarce in resources and has a harsh climate. This can be both seen and felt in our way of approaching light. Our fixtures are small to ensure no material goes to waste, and our aim is to make the contrast between the physical size and the actual amount of light as big as possible.
For us, it’s just as important to leave certain details of a space in the dark, and by doing so effectively highlighting the poetry and dynamics of light.
