Goniophotometer for LED/SSL

Description

The goniophotometers from Instrument Systems allow angle-dependent optical parameters of LED and SSL products to be comprehensively analyzed. This covers the entire value chain from single packaged LEDs, through LED modules and light engines to large SSL lamps and luminaires.

LEDGON 100

The LEDGON goniophotometer from Instrument Systems determines the spatial radiation pattern of LEDs and small LED modules. Measurement is made over the whole forward hemisphere of an emitting LED and even for narrow emission angle LEDs. In combination with the CAS 140CT spectroradiometer, additional spectral parameters, such as the angle dependence of color coordinates or color temperature, can also be measured.

LGS 650

The LGS 650 goniophotometer was developed for the analysis of angle-dependent spatial radiation properties and offers a cost effective alternative to the LGS 1000. The LGS 650 is compliant with all relevant specifications in conformity with CIE, DIN and IES standards. The probes may have a diameter up to max. 1300 mm and a maximum weight of 10 kg. At Light + Building 2024, the LGS 650 will be presented at the CSA Group booth: Hall 8.0 G80.

LGS 1000

The compact LGS 1000 goniophotometer system by Instrument Systems guarantees precise determination of the spatial radiation characteristics of Solid State Lighting (SSL) products as well as lamps and luminaires. In addition, energy efficiency can be tested and evaluated in accordance with the European Ecodesign Directive for energy-related products. The newly developed correction of the burning position is a key upgrade for measurement in conformance with the latest international standard CIE S 025 and its European pendant EN 13032-4, in force since August 2015.
