Turn-key Testing System for Quality Control in Production Lines of Luminaires

LightTester 100 (maximum size of luminaire 1 m) and LightTester 160 (maximum size of luminaire 1.6 m) are versatile test stations for quality control of luminaires during production. The verification of most important photometric values (such as lumens, CCT etc.) and electrical safety has been integrated into one single test unit.  The testing sequence time is even < 10 seconds, so the LightTester 100 and 160 are suitable for 100% testing scheme. The LightTester 100/160 is delivered as a ready-made package, including everything you need, such as a test station table, test computer with software and measuring equipment.In the test software, the measured values ​​are stored in a database. In the test software it is possible to give fail-pass criteria for each luminaire type and for each measurement parameter.
The LightTester 100/160 can be configured to be integrated as a part of the production assembly line or they can be stand-alone testing setup.

Flicker measurement is requested by ecodesign regulation for all the light sources put to market after 1.9.2021

SSL BTC 20 is a camera based setup for fast yet reproducible beam pattern measurements of directional light sources such as automotive and flashlight sources. The typical measurement time is 5 - 10 seconds.  BTC 20 produces comparable results to turning goniophotometers with an accuracy of 7 %. The dynamic measurement range is from 0.3 cd up to 70 000 000 cd.

SSL BTC 20 is a good choice for characterizing essential photometric parameters of automotive lighting fixtures and portable flashlights. Other popular application is testing of spot lamps in the connection of the assembly line of the lighting fixtures.Measurement parameters:

SSL DECO 27 (previously named by SSL C-2R.270) is a floor mount goniometer of type 2.1 (EN13032-1:2004 clause 6.1.1.2) with the turning detector (γ axis) and luminaire (C axis) features. SSL DECO 27 moving detector goniophotometer completely meets the requirements of unchanged burning positions stated in IES LM79-08 Clause 9.3.1.
