Description

We organise seminars, workdays and workshops with a focus on the major current topics in the sector, including: export markets and their accessibility, industrial property and designs, online marketing, technical workdays, such as the safety legislation in Europe and other economic zones, developments in new light sources, both voluntary and mandatory technical export requirements in different countries, etc.

Based on the proposal of our companies, or if there are needs detected by the federation, we select major current topics for discussion, whether it be the topic of exports in general or have a specific focus on the lighting sector. Our objective is to interchange experiences and knowledge about the main issues that affect the sector.

Spanish Decorative Lighting Industry

We have been recognised by the Department of International Trade and Investments of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and we act as the legal spokesperson between the Public Administration Institutions and the Lighting Sector.

We manage the Annual Sector Plan of the Spanish Decorative Lighting industry in collaboration with ICEX, the Spanish Institute of Exports and Investment.

FEDAI develops an annual offline marketing plan under the umbrella brand of Lighting from Spain, which is focused on satisfying one of the main objectives of FEDAI, to strengthen the Spanish lighting sector beyond our borders, whilst also seeking to reinforce the trademark of SPAIN in the lighting sector. Consequently, this will benefit future exports and facilitate the discovery of Spanish companies.

The web page of Lightingspain.com was created in 2017 as an ecommerce business with the intent of contributing towards one of the main aims of FEDAI; to enhance and develop the trademark of Spain in the lighting sector. The web site is an exclusive and respected European platform to showcase the quality of Spanish manufacturers, and connect with an international audience. It was founded as the first online shop for Spanish light fixtures which offers the choice for manufacturers to directly connect with either final consumer (B2C), professional customers (B2B) or both.

Lightingspain.com unites the best Spanish lighting products in all styles – classic, modern and contemporary. We facilitate the navigation amongst the different types, styles and uses of lighting as there is a great contrast throughout the decorative fixtures offered on our website. Although there is diversification and variation of the products of our associates, they are all connected by the common nexus of quality Spanish design.
