FEDAI is the Spanish Federation of Associations of Industries of Exporters of Decorative Lighting Fixtures.

FEDAI´s mission is to support, defend and promote the Spanish lighting sector on an international scale.

We have been recognised by the Department of International Trade and Investments of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and we act as the legal spokesperson between the Public Administration Institutions and the Lighting Sector.

We manage the Annual Sector Plan of the Spanish Decorative Lighting industry in collaboration with ICEX, the Spanish Institute of Exports and Investment.

FEDAI develops an annual offline marketing plan under the umbrella brand of Lighting from Spain, which is focused on satisfying one of the main objectives of FEDAI, to strengthen the Spanish lighting sector beyond our borders, whilst also seeking to reinforce the trademark of SPAIN in the lighting sector. Consequently, this will benefit future exports and facilitate the discovery of Spanish companies.

FEDAI provides an extensive portfolio of services, which aim to increase the competitive edge of our companies and equip them with efficient tools for their promotional activities abroad.

Foreign Promotion: FEDAI provides companies with our expertise in the coordination and management of foreign promotional undertakings.

Training: We organize seminars, workdays and workshops with a focus on the major current topics in the sector.

Defence of the sector: We carry out continuous monitoring and surveillance of the sector in terms of regulatory, technical and commercial aspects.

Personnel Assistance: Professional guidance and assistance with the search for qualified and suitable profiles, directing them to associate companies.

Legislation: Continuously updated technical information about the legislation which affects the sector in different countries.

Grant & financial aid management: Management and information of grants and subsidies available from different organizations supporting foreign promotion and internationalisation.

Communication platforms: Communication of news and updates from associates through FEDAI web pages and a range of social networks.

The web page of Lightingspain.com was created in 2017 as an ecommerce business with the intent of contributing towards one of the main aims of FEDAI; to enhance and develop the trademark of Spain in the lighting sector. The web site is an exclusive and respected European platform to showcase the quality of Spanish manufacturers, and connect with an international audience. It was founded as the first online shop for Spanish light fixtures which offers the choice for manufacturers to directly connect with either final consumer (B2C), professional customers (B2B) or both.
