The hypnotic percussiveness of the Carioca rhythms is achieved with primordial instruments: the hands. To pay homage to the hands of black slaves, the first Brazilian percussionists who could batucar drums and make people dance in a mixture of music and religion, Batucada seems to want to hold the precious source of light between two hands, hiding it or revealing it when needed.

Just like a jewel, the bright ceramic elements are organized in a vertical series that forms a varied and colorful chain. This chain progresses while alternating geometries until it reaches the most important element that contains the lighting element.
