Interchangeable light sources are a good choice for professional applications in particular, not least against the background of current EU legislation. This is because the "Right to Repair" is also in the starting blocks for luminaires and is expected by 2025. Users and planners should set the course now. Serviceable luminaires with replaceable light sources can be easily repaired.
