The Sontex 878 impresses with a high degree of flexibility in parameter setting, simplifies installation and commissioning processes, and enables optimized consumption value tracking. It combines Swiss precision, exceptional ease of use, secure data transmission and guaranteed fair consumption billing, making it a pioneer in its segment.

The Sontex 878 device has the ability of automatic activation when mounted on the rail and can be easily equipped with a remote sensor on site. Parameter setting, protected by a password, and AES-128 encryption of consumption data ensure increased protection, even against tampering. With up to 15 values that can be displayed on the LCD and up to 144 monthly values that can be stored for years, the Sontex 878 offers maximum ease of use and readout. It is possible to read out the device at any time.

By implementing LoRaWAN technology, the Sontex 878 heat cost allocator ensures extended radio coverage inside buildings. With end-to-end encryption and customizable transmission times, it provides secure communication and a significantly extended lifetime. Depending on the reachability of the device, it can automatically switch between a long (SF 7-9) and a short (SF 10-12) telegram. The contents of telegrams can be generated dynamically. In addition, downlinks are possible, for example to configure Kc values.
