The most important feature of V.B. ELECTRIC S.r.l. containers for electrical distribution boxes is that they are realised with fiberglass, a material which is suited for the outside use thanks to its very high qualitative features both for its mechanical strength and for its strong resistance to electrical isolation degree and to temperature changes (-40 °C +150 °C)

Fiberglass is a plastic thermosetting technopolymerbased on unsatured polyester resins and cut or continuous glass fibers. The most important features of fiberglass material are:

• high stiffness and high mechanical strength
• high heat resistance
• high dielectric features
• self-extinguishing
• excellent dimensional accuracy
• weather and chemical agents resistance
• low specific weight compared to metals

The fiberglass use has resolved one of the most serious problems in the electrical branch, as a matter of fact, all the products realized with fiberglass don’t require earthing (-40 °C +150 °C)
