The DALI Alliance has extended its highly successful DALI-2 certification program to include control gear for self-contained emergency lighting. Focused on device interoperability, DALI-2 certification is built on open, international standards.

DALI emergency lighting is widely used as a robust and reliable solution that meets safety-critical requirements in buildings throughout the world. The DALI protocol enables integrated, digital control systems that combine illumination and emergency lighting.

With a closing date of December 2, 2022, the DALI Lighting Awards 2022 will highlight and recognize the best use of DALI control applications and solutions in lighting projects across the world.

Wireless to DALI Gateways enable existing wired DALI lighting products to be used in non-DALI wireless ecosystems.

Gateways allow existing wireless ecosystems to control and query common DALI wired products, such as LED drivers. Devices in the wireless ecosystem communicate using their existing protocol, and can talk with the gateway.

The DALI Alliance is developing certification programs for:

• Bluetooth mesh to DALI Gateways
• Zigbee to DALI Gateways
