Historical lighting

Description

Established with the restoration of cast iron street lamps in the historical town centres of the main Italian cities, GMR ENLIGHTS has an in-depths experience in the field of outdoor historical and classic lighting.

GMR ENLIGHTS offers a wide selection of products for the LED lighting of historical town centres and for the aesthetic enhancement of prestigious areas: cast iron lanterns and bollards, cast iron and cast iron-steel poles and brackets. Our collections combine the refined design of tradition with mechanical quality and the highest lighting performance.

Visual comfort
The optical systems of our LED urban lighting fixtures are designed and developed to ensure high visual comfort and minimise the point effect typical of LED sources.

Optical flexibility
Thanks to the range of optic types available, the GMR ENLIGHTS street light fixtures can be adapted to any installation requirement.
The luminous output is distributed only where necessary to maximise performance.

Easy and safe maintenance
GMR ENLIGHTS urban lighting systems ensure easy maintenance and replacement of internal components.

Long life of LED sources and product
GMR ENLIGHTS lighting fixtures have obtained the European ENEC certification at a working ambient temperature Ta -40° and up to + 55°C: this shows the care we have used in the study of heat dissipation, which is fundamental to ensure the long life of the sources and the product. All GMR ENLIGHTS products make use of LED sources able to guarantee the maximum service life of the fixture, with a typical luminous output decay of L90B10 100,000h (LM80 – TM21 protocol).

Optical Technology
The GMR ENLIGHTS historical lighting fixtures use the GLASS-FREE technology, a refractive optical system composed of single-chip LEDs, PMMA IP66 and IK09 lenses with high impact resistance and under warranty for 30 years against UV and yellowing due to ageing (without glass).


Quality of finishes and mechanical strength
Our lighting fixtures have high corrosion resistance in accordance with ISO 9227 (8000h in salt spray) and have passed the strict Vibration Test in accordance with IEC 60068-2-6. All urban lighting poles have high corrosion resistance, thanks to hot-dip galvanising and specific surface treatments developed together with paint suppliers.

Restoration
The restoration is carried out by our company with particular attention to the historical and cultural context of the period pieces and with the support and monitoring of the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage.

GMR ENLIGHTS has the know-how and experience to develop poles and ad-hoc lighting systems with an exclusive design for prestigious projects.

GLASS-FREE
Refractive optical system composed of single-chip LEDs, PMMA IP66 and IK09 lenses with high impact resistance and under warranty for 30 years against UV and yellowing due to ageing (without glass).
REFLEXA
Reflective optical system composed of single-chip LEDs, extra pure aluminium reflector with silver PDV treatment and extra-clear tempered glass. The choice of the best optical technology depends on the project, application or product selected.

Floodlights

GMR ENLIGHTS offers a range of professional LED floodlights for lighting large areas, industrial contexts and for other applications. We have designed high-efficiency floodlights for outdoor lighting of sports facilities and football fields of any level, for amateurs and for professionals with television broadcasts. Our products are suitable for lighting towers to illuminate big areas. We have developed products entirely in STAINLESS STEEL specifically designed for road and motorway tunnels and for underpasses. A line of LED floodlights for indoor and outdoor industrial contexts, the interior of commercial premises and warehouses, completes the offer.

Our LED floodlights for outdoor and indoor applications are designed with attention to weight and wind exposure, colour temperature selection and colour rendering.
