SOLDER AND LINK - Solderfree LED Strips

proTon event- & medientechnik GmbH

Description

The SOLDER AND LINK series enables a completely solder-free connection of LED strips.

A well-known challenge in the installation of LED strips is soldering the low-voltage leads to the flexible circuit board. This task requires experience and practice, whether it's soldering in a profile, overhead, or in hard-to-reach places. The fact that LED strips require special soldering irons and tips also complicates the traditional assembly of LED strips significantly.

Imagine if soldering were a thing of the past, and from now on, you could clamp the leads to the LED strip instead of soldering, just like you were accustomed to with light bulb sockets.

The Solder And Link series by SMARTLED enables a completely solder-free connection of LED strips. With this innovation, the challenging task of soldering on the construction site becomes unnecessary. Connection terminals directly on the flexible circuit board of the LED strip facilitate planning, execution, and installation. You can connect wires up to 0.75mm² cross-section directly, making it easy to implement center feeds as well. The Solder And Link series (SAL) is also available in a 30-meter roll.

REFIT - Retrofit Kit for Fluorescent Tubes

REFIT - Retrofit Kit for Fluorescent Tubes

The ultimate solution for efficient and flicker-free ceiling lighting.

The designed PLUG & PLAY system can be effortlessly installed into the existing housing using magnetic clips or mounting clips, making the installation of our retrofit kit easy and time-saving. With the available magnetic clips on the luminaires, the REFIT kits can be used not only for replacing fluorescent tubes but also attached to all ferromagnetic materials, such as sales shelves, display cases, etc.

Sustainability and environmental friendliness are essential aspects of our REFIT retrofit kits. You can retain the existing housing, avoiding structural changes to the ceiling, which is not only constructionally convenient but also resource-friendly. Another advantage of our REFIT solution over simply replacing the light source is the possibility of applying for environmental incentives. A significant hurdle in transitioning from conventional fluorescent tubes to LED tubes is the re-certification of the luminaire and the associated effort. When replacing fluorescent tubes with conventional LED tubes and the necessary modifications, the validity of the CE marking (and other certification marks) and the luminaire warranty often expires. This means that at least a new CE conformity must be established, and, not least due to changed technical data, a new nameplate must be affixed.

The norm-compliant and tested REFIT system thus meets the highest safety standards and ensures reliable lighting without potential hazards since we avoid the reuse of old sockets and ballasts. With our REFIT retrofit kits, you enjoy flicker-free lighting with high efficiency of up to 160lm/W and a high color rendering index of CRI>92. This not only provides optimal illumination but also ensures a quick return on investment. Thanks to lower energy consumption compared to conventional fluorescent tubes, significant power savings of up to 70% can be achieved. Additionally, you benefit from reduced maintenance and operating costs, as our retrofit kits are designed to save energy and costs in the long term.

As an Austrian company, we take pride in the fact that our REFIT products are developed with the highest engineering expertise and care in Austria and manufactured in Central Europe. This results in minimal transportation distances for our REFIT products, significantly reducing the resulting carbon footprint.

Our retrofit kits are perfectly designed to replace the need for fluorescent tubes and meet current requirements, standards, and regulations.
