Our ceiling fixtures are the standard of the future. We have redefined the connection between the luminary and the ceiling. With this, we let the fixtures disappear into the ceiling, and allow the light itself to become more visible. This sophisticated solution is functional while shapely at the same time. Ending a decades long nuisance: Surface-mounted solutions are a thing of the past with BALDA 28. All mounting and electrical connections are bundled together into just 28mm and integrated into the ceiling.

Frameless in exposed concrete.
Our built-in module is flush-mounted into exposed concrete. A capsule is cast in the concrete, making it simple and tool-free. An uninterrupted solution for overhead lighting, it becomes a connecting element between material and light. The module is simple, variable, user-friendly and precise.

Invisible built-in wonder.
Frameless mounting in concrete? Just place the concrete capsule on the formwork, which works almost tool-free, and include it in the ceiling when pouring the concrete. Thanks to the space left between capsule neck and ceiling edge, the capsule including its little legs disappears in the ceiling
entirely. All you can see is a chamfered hole with bayonet mechanism, ready to house any pendant luminaire or product of our SYSTEM DOT 28.

Application in solid construction:
Installation depth for plastered ceilings of only 25 mm without built-in casing.
Our everyday challenges let us grow. This is why we have developed the DOT SLIM. Instead of the regular insert components, a 25 mm shuttering board is sufficient as recess. Reinforcement rods can be put over the flat recess and an adjustable plaster edge of 0–6 mm assists in flush plastering around the lamp. Designed with practicality in mind: Also able to be used for drywall installation.

Application in drywall installation:
Thinnest substructure. Largest light output.
Here we have the same built-in module as for solid construction. With an installation depth of only 40mm, this DOT SLIM type will easily integrate into the substrate, regardless of what goes in the layer above. The adjustable plaster edge of 0-6mm assists in flush plastering. Furthermore, different arrangements, configurations and power supply options with a light output of up to 1220 Lumen are possible depending on the specific requirements. As always, the LED-illuminant is easily changeable from the front.

Frameless integration.
Flush-mounted into the ceiling, this source of light is almost invisible. An abundance of light streams from a single spot. Masterfully crafted reflectors create beautiful cones of light in the room, casting dainty shadows and adding brilliance to any material. DOT 28 emanates a
soft, atmospheric light. A system for simple, yet sophisticated lighting that lets a room speak for itself.
