Description
AirQ Sensor is a device designed to continuously monitor indoor air quality and automatically trigger corrective actions when needed. It measures the concentration of CO₂, volatile organic compounds (VOC), particles (PM2.5 and PM10), and relative humidity, calculating a customizable Indoor Air Quality Index, displayed through a color scale: green (good quality), yellow (medium quality), and red (poor quality).
When the index falls below optimal levels, AirQ Sensor activates ventilation systems or ionization modules to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment, protecting occupants’ health and well-being. AirQ is a standalone Wi-Fi sensor that is easy to install and fully compatible with Airzone systems, providing precise and continuous monitoring of indoor air quality.
It integrates Wi-Fi connectivity with no wiring required, detects multiple environmental parameters, and can automatically act on HVAC systems to improve the air we breathe.
How AirQ Sensor improves air quality
When the indoor air quality index falls below the established value, AirQ Sensor can activate different elements to improve air quality.
- Ionization-based air purification: this technology is activated when PM2.5, PM10, and TVOC levels rise, removing harmful particles from the environment.
- Ventilation-driven air renewal: the ventilation units are activated when the CO₂ concentration in the air exceeds recommended thresholds.
