INJECTION moulding is carried out through horizontal and / or vertical presses. The raw compound is loaded, raised to the right temperature, and then injected into a metal mould where it is cured for a predetermined time. This procedure is particularly suitable for manufacturing large series of technical products and o-rings.

COMPRESSION moulding always takes place in a metal mould, the raw compound is loaded manually. This process is suitable for producing smaller quantities of large sized and heavy items.

Tolerances allowed for injection and compression moulded parts: ISO 3302-1 class M2. O-Rings: ISO 3601-1.

EXTRUDED articles are profiles in different sections. They are produced in an extruder where the raw compound is loaded into a heated extruder, and then pushed through a ring nut in order to have the desired shape and size. The subsequent vulcanization takes place in a horizontal furnace, which allows for complete crosslinking. The profile is then wound into coils or cut to size.

These items are particularly suited to lighting and electronics. Upon request, extruded profiles can be cut into different lengths.

For certain applications extruded profiles can also be cold or hot glued, so that the finished article has the exact size required.

Extrusion has wider tolerances than moulding in accordance to DIN ISO 3302-1 classes E2 (section) L2 (length).

The items are made by cold-die cutting different made-to-drawing designs from a rubber sheet or other materials (e.g. Flexoid, felt, Teflon). The sheets are cut using metal moulds (dies) mounted on specific machines (die cutters).

The articles can be die-cut on demand and coupled with an adhesive film.

Technical articles in plastic and derivatives can have an infinite number of shapes, suitable for many industrial applications.
