The story of brennenstuhl® began in 1958 in the university town of Tübingen, in the south of Germany. Since then, we have grown continuously and are now one of the world's leading companies in the field of electronics and electrical engineering.

Developing ideas and products further was also the aspiration of our company founder Hugo Brennenstuhl and is still our philosophy today. It all started with a paint spray gun: Hugo Brennenstuhl was dissatisfied with the way existing products worked. However, he had a clear ambition: the things he tackled had to be thought through to the end and therefore perfect. And so, with a Swabian mentality, he took matters into his own hands and developed an optimised product, a paint spray gun based on air pressure instead of compressed air. That was the start of the family business.

brennenstuhl® Multi Battery 18V System
Maximum compatibility in an worklight combined with the efficient 18V battery systems of leading battery manufacturers such as Bosch Professional - that was the vision behind the development of the brennenstuhl® Multi Battery 18V System. In 2021, the first multi-battery system with compatibility with 18V batteries from Bosch Professional, Dewalt, Makita, Metabo and Milwaukee was presented by brennenstuhl®, including at Light + Building 2022, where the system was also honoured with the German Innovation Award in "Gold".
Using the brennenstuhl® technology is extremely simple: the adapter is attached to the brennenstuhl® interface of the work lamps with a single movement. This puts flexibility in the hands of the user, who is free to choose which battery system to use.
As a pioneer in the field of multi-battery systems for work lights, we are presenting new brand integrations this year. Thanks to an even larger selection of interface adapters for the LED work lights, the LED worklights in the brennenstuhl® Multi Battery 18V system are now compatible not only with the rechargeable battery systems of the manufacturers Bosch Professional, Dewalt, Festool, Flex, Makita, Metabo CAS and Milwaukee, but also with the brands Einhell, Fein, Hikoki and Würth.

As a smart system, the WiFi-controlled products provide effective energy management support. They enable automatic, time-controlled switching of connected electrical appliances and optimisation of power consumption via app or voice control.
