KOS Track
Description
The KOS ceiling track.
Beautiful. Versatile.
The KOS Track is equally both the mounting and the mise-en-scène of our lamps. With it, you can position any number or sequence of suspension lights as you wish. They can all be adjusted to any point along the track, even while in use. All you have to do is gently pull the cord. The ceiling track is child's play to install. The ballast is already integrated. Because the Track is open at the top, it can be connected to the electricity supply at any point. Use the KOS track to design your lighting scheme just the way you want it. You choose how many suspension lamps you want, and in what size. Choose the cord colour and surface type and add extras to your KOS like our Spotlight or the Rotating Disk.
Creating spaces with light.
Ingeniously directed light illuminates the KOS opal-glass globes from within, making them glow in a soft white. Their elegant form is accentuated by the perfectly sculpted light, and not dissolved by a glare as is so often the case with round lamps. With its 126 LEDs (L version), the KOS exudes an impressive brightness, which it gently radiates largely downward, keeping the rest to put itself in the best light.
A blissful fusion of high-tech and craftsmanship.
KOS' electronics, with more than 100 high-performance LEDs and modules for smart control, are made in Germany with leading-edge automatic placement machines. This guarantees top manufacturing quality and long life.
The fine opal-glass bodies are created by hand in a traditional European glass manufactory. Each and every one is a unique one-off, hand-blown in a complex procedure from molten glass. It is a procedure that requires incredible skill and enormous experience. And only the best results are approved for the market after strict quality controlling, to be fused together with the other components into a finished luminaire.
Perfect light.
Just the way you like it.
Smart gesture control
You can turn the KOS on and off with the light switch, or by gently tapping the lampshade. Of course, the KOS can also be dimmed – simply by holding the palm of your hand beneath the lamp and moving it upwards towards the globe. And because the colour of light can change not only a space but also the mood, the light's warmth can also be regulated by tilting the lamp.
Verstatile Adjustment
The height of the KOS can be adjusted infinitely within one metre, with the fine, textile-covered electrical cord disappearing without a trace inside the lamp. When mounted in our ceiling track, the KOS can be moved laterally simply by pulling on the cord – even when the light is on.
