Wiha launches a new era of electrical test documentation

With the new MFT one (installation tester) and PAT one (device tester) series of measuring devices, Wiha is launching a fully integrated testing solution: the devices provide the measurement data, Sparkify automatically records and structures it, and turns it into the finished test report. Measurement and documentation thus merge into a fluid, intuitive workflow – mobile, offline-first, and seamlessly linked to the office. The result: faster tests, clear PASS/FAIL communication, and finished reports directly on the construction site.

New simplicity at the measurement point

MFT one and PAT one are consistently designed for a groundbreaking user experience and save time from the very first measuring point. Results appear in real time with clear PASS/FAIL logic and are transferred to Sparkify with a single tap. Installation and device test reports are created with virtually no typing: measured values, photos of the visual inspection, and assignments via NFC, barcode, or RFID flow automatically into the report. Documentation takes place where the measurements are taken – on the construction site, in maintenance or in service – and can be shared immediately.

With MFT one, planning data (e.g., electrical circuits/system structure) can be automatically transferred to the installation log. The configurable auto-test reliably performs all relevant measurements in a single pass; the results appear immediately and are assigned directly in Sparkify. This saves time per measurement point and seamlessly integrates the tester into the documentation process.

PAT one is the compact specialist for device testing in accordance with current standards and impresses with its guided step-by-step process – even in confined spaces. Both devices are robust and designed for mobile use; the MFT one's ergonomic carrying strap and smartphone Holder make it easier to work with Sparkify.

Sparkify is designed as an offline-first solution, making it ideal for environments with poor network coverage. The mobile app for iOS and Android synchronizes data as soon as a connection is established, and the web client in the office ensures direct further processing without media breaks. Projects, test objects, and measuring points are clearly structured, image documentation and comments are automatically assigned, and the result is a clean, shareable test report – including a traceable history.

Secure, flexible, and scalable

Sparkify consistently complies with European data protection standards and makes teams productive immediately. When purchasing a device, users can document locally and free of charge without limitation – recording tests, generating reports, and completing them directly at the measuring point. Those who want to use AI features frequently—such as automatic test object recognition—or need more cloud storage can supplement Sparkify with suitable software extensions as needed. This keeps the entry point lean, and the platform grows exactly where it creates concrete added value.

Availability and market launch

The market launch of MFT one and PAT one with Sparkify will take place around Light + Building 2026 (Messe Frankfurt, Hall 12, Booth D60). The launch will be accompanied by an integrated campaign, on-site demos, and comprehensive services for retail partners.
