The R-Fiber range covers the wide range of components used in network levels 4 and 5 of a fiber optic installation. Rutenbeck offers a variety of different connector faces and performance classes in the singlemode and multimode range, depending on the planned procedure for further installation.
From installation in 19" cabinets to design-compatible flush-mounted terminations, the components cover all areas of application.

Rutenbeck is also presenting new solutions this year. An FTTH connection set including the home transfer point (WÜP) in a design-neutral surface-mounted wall box can also be installed in microducts in future and can be fitted with additional gas blockers for increased fire protection.

Rutenbeck offers a Plug & Play FTTH extension set for bridging the distance between the fiber optic connection in the apartment or house and the position of the fiber optic router. Up to 20 meters can be bridged with a single fibre and the positioning can be selected individually.

Patch panel for patch cable management

On one height unit, the front recess provides sufficient space for the patch cables to be fed through to the rear into the interior of the enclosure. The brush strip can also be removed after the feed-through patch panel has been installed to simplify the threading of the patch cables. The brush strip serves as dust protection and to prevent air exchange between the front and rear in air-conditioned enclosures.

To ensure clean patch cable routing in the front area of the 19" enclosure, appropriate cable routing aids are now a must. An unequipped base plate for 19" installation on a height unit can be fitted with various cable routing brackets to accommodate the patch cables. Different cabinet depths can be compensated for with the different versions of the brackets. These are available in the sizes 60 mm (black plastic version), 75 and 110 mm (chrome-plated metal brackets). The brackets can be easily replaced even when mounted. 5 brackets are required for each base plate.

The REG patch panel is installed in a 19" rack on 3 height units. The front panel can be easily removed with two screws, providing access to a pre-assembled top-hat rail. The patch panel offers space for up to 22 subdivision units and thus enables the mounting of REG patch panels, installation switches and other REG devices. The openings at the top and bottom across the entire rear allow cables to be fed in easily from behind. Earthing studs are provided on the rear left or right side.

The new Cat.8.1 universal module has been specially developed for use in 40 Gigabit Ethernet networks and offers a transmission bandwidth of up to 2000 MHz. It is backwards compatible throughout and is also suitable for use in 25 and 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks. The module fits into standard keystone openings and can therefore be used in a variety of installation situations. This makes it an ideal choice for modern network requirements.
