The trade fair is open to trade visitors only. Admission for private visitors is not permitted.
How much does a ticket for Light + Building cost?
There are various ticket conditions. Prices vary depending, for example, on whether you purchase your ticket in advance or at the box office. You can find an overview of all ticket types here:

Your Light + Building ticket includes an RMV ticket and access to the Networking Tool. With your ticket, you can travel free of charge to and from Messe Frankfurt using public transport within the entire Rhein-Main Transport Association (RMV) fare zone. The ticket can be presented either digitally or in printed form.
Voucher tickets must be exchanged for an admission ticket in the ticket shop in order to use RMV public transport for travel to and from the trade fair. Only exchanged vouchers are valid for RMV travel. Please note that the online ticket is only valid for use on RMV services when presented together with a valid identity card or passport.
Free access to the Networking Tool offers the following features:
- Matchmaking and making contact with exhibitors and visitors
- Appointment scheduling functions for efficient planning
- Building a personal network beyond the event
If you no longer wish to use this contractual service, you can close your networking profile at any time.
What is the best way to get to Light + Building in Frankfurt?
Messe Frankfurt is centrally located and can be reached easily by plane, car or public transport.
Overview of all travel and accommodation optionsWhere can I park?
You can park at the Rebstock multi-storey car park. In addition, there are further parking areas outdoors on the Rebstock site.
Parking fees:
- €20.00 in the multi-storey car park
- €17.00 in the outdoor parking area
A free parking shuttle operates between the Rebstock site and the exhibition grounds.
Electric vehicles
We offer numerous charging stations for electric vehicles on the exhibition grounds and in the car parks. All charging stations are equipped with Type 2 connectors.
As capacity is limited, we kindly ask you to register in advance via our contact form.
Motorhomes / caravan parking
Rebstock site, Block D; parking spaces without infrastructure (no electricity or water connection)
Parking fee: €17.00 per day, payable on site (cash or card payment)
Advance reservations are not possible.

- Entrance Galleria 9.T (between Halls 8 and 9)

All entrances are marked on the hall plan.
At the on-site ticket offices, payment is cashless only.
What are the opening hours of Light + Building?
8–12 March 2026 (Sunday to Thursday):
9.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
13 March 2026 (Friday):
9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
The trade fair is open to trade visitors only. Admission for private visitors is not permitted. Cash sales and the distribution of samples are not allowed.

Where can I eat and drink?
A wide range of vegetarian and vegan food options is available at all catering outlets.
The opening hours of restaurants and café bars will be published as soon as they are available.
Am I allowed to take photos at Light + Building?
When taking photos or making audio or video recordings, please respect the personal rights of others (e.g. the right to one’s own image), trademark and design rights, as well as exhibitors’ domiciliary rights on their stands.
Messe Frankfurt does not issue photo or video recording permits.

Where can I find cloakrooms?
Cloakrooms are available at the following entrances:
- Entrance City
- Entrance Galleria
- Entrance Portalhaus
- Entrance Torhaus
Storage of coats and luggage: €3.00 per item
Cloakrooms are open from 8.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. (last day of the trade fair: 6.00 p.m.).
In addition, a cloakroom at each entrance is open until 9.00 p.m. (last day of the trade fair: 7.30 p.m.).
Please note that short-term changes may occur. We therefore recommend asking the cloakroom staff on site about the current daily opening hours.
Where can I find prayer rooms on the exhibition grounds?
For the Christian faith: Church Centre / Room of Silence, Torhaus, Level 4
For the Muslim faith: Hall 10.4

Can I withdraw cash at the exhibition grounds?
Yes, there are ATMs on and near the exhibition grounds:

Am I allowed to smoke on the exhibition grounds?
For occupational health and safety reasons, smoking is prohibited in all buildings and enclosed areas of Messe Frankfurt (e.g. halls, stairwells, restaurants or the Via Mobile).
Designated smoking areas with ashtrays are available outside all hall exits.
Where can I find taxis?
Taxi ranks are located at various entrances:

- Taxi rank at CMF (Congress Center Messe Frankfurt)
Access to the exhibition grounds by taxi is only permitted after 7.00 p.m. during the event.

Is there Wi-Fi on the exhibition grounds?
Yes, free “Messe Frankfurt WiFi” is available throughout the exhibition grounds. You can log in using your user account (sign-in) or your ticket ID.
