P5_LVL
Description
P5-LVL is a new generation device enabling Smart Lighting and Smart City applications that realizes a deep symbiosis with the controlled lamp, over which is installed on a 4-contacts connector (LUMAWISE Endurance S by Tyco Electronics).
The refined electronic circuitry allows the device to implement several features to manage and control the light point, both for remote control and diagnostic purposes. Secure remote firmware OTA (Over the Air) with downgrade capabilities up to 8 releases, cryptography hardware on chip, astronomical clock, stand-alone dimming profile mode, accelerometer and a temperature sensor make the P5-LVL a complete package for any smart lighting application.
P5-LVL has a radio module and a 2.4 GHz integrated antenna compatible with IEEE 802.15.4 used for creating a wireless mesh network over which, through a multi-hop approach, it is possible to exchange information. Communication between devices occurs towards a short-range wireless connection (100 m Line of Sight) at 2.4 GHz frequency.
It is also possible to equip the P5-LVL with another wireless communications protocol choosing from: 2G, 3G, 4G, NB-IoT, EnOcean, LoRa and 868 MHz, giving greater flexibility for communication with external networks. Optional GPS and Bluetooth are available as well as integration of PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) and luxmeter sensors to detect motion and brightness giving even more controlling options to the user.
