Professional CO alarm system GX-C300
Description
Carbon monoxide cannot be felt, seen or smelled .... but fortunately it can be measured.
This life-threatening and invisible gas is produced by any combustion in which there is not enough oxygen - which is a growing risk due to our increasingly well insulated buildings.
As you cozy up in front of the fireplace and relax, gazing into the warming flames, carbon monoxide can build up in the room. This carbon monoxide is also produced by other combustible materials, such as pellets, paper, cardboard or even gases such as butane, propane, methane and oil.
Then, if not well ventilated, we inhale this gas.
The problem is that our body does not recognize the carbon monoxide, but binds its molecules to the red blood cells like oxygen. But our cells need pure oxygen, they can't do anything with the carbon monoxide, unfortunately exhaling the CO doesn't work either and so we accumulate the carbon monoxide in our body - and have less and less free red blood cells to transport the vital oxygen into the cells. So we suffocate - even though we breathe.
That's why a CO detector is truly a life-saving investment in your safety.
Our GX-C300 is a professional carbon monoxide warning system for fixed installation with internal electro-chemical CO sensor that detects precise values from 0-330ppm CO concentration. The display of the precisely measured CO concentration in ppm is shown on the illuminated plain text display with powerful 32bit microcontroller. In case of alarm by the integrated, loud piezo, as well as flashing display and in case of technical faults detected by the device itself, a potential-free change-over relay switches in each case, e.g. to activate forced ventilation or to inform the building management system.
The gas warning system is factory set with warning levels and alarm delay times as in standard DIN EN 50291, but these can be changed according to your specifications. Please contact our technical support.
The internal electrochemical sensor has a lifetime of 6 to 10 years depending on the environmental conditions. The service of Elektrotechnik Schabus offers the exchange in the factory.
