VEmesh Wireless Extension to DALI (D2D) Bridge Node
Description
VEmesh D2D (DALI to DALI) Bridge Node is a family of VEmesh network devices that are part of Wireless Extension to DALI (D2D) solution. These networks add wireless capability to regular DALI (wired), thus increasing your productivity of lighting control deployment, lowering the maintenance costs and enabling you to operate in places that otherwise would be difficult to access. You can keep using all you existing DALI luminaires, drivers, controllers, sensors, and other DALI devices as is, eliminating your need to invest in dedicated wireless DALI products. As such, D2D is a simple and intuitive solution for replacing wires by wireless, where needed or in all DALI network.
In a VEmesh D2D Network, the connection of the DALI devices is through VEmesh D2D Bridge Nodes. Up to 64 x D2D Bridge Nodes and 1 x D2D Gateway form together a VEmesh D2D network for high performance and cost-effective wireless DALI connectivity. Each VEmesh Bridge Node can support up to 64 DALI short addresses of control gear, such as LED Drivers. In addition, you can use D2D Nodes to connect to switches, presence detectors and sensors with application controllers for DALI and various extensions to the leading suppliers of standard DALI products on the market.
VEmesh D2D supports simultaneous operation of up to 250 D2D Networks in the same or adjacent location, for large lighting systems. The configuration for multi-network systems uses the D2D Toolkit.

VEmesh D2D Bridge Node is designed to operate with devices complying with DALI1 and DALI2 (IEC 62386 relevant parts).
All VEmesh products use synchronized-flooding technology for utmost wireless performance, including space diversity and time diversity for highest propagation robustness. They also use Frequency Hopping, which in Europe employs LBT and AFA for maximum transmission power and range. The supported RF wireless regulations are of Europe, North America, South America and Israel, depending on the model.
VEmesh D2D Bridge Node has an Internal Antenna for improved cost-effectiveness; external antenna is an option.
