Craftsmanship and dedication
At CIMCO, we value craftsmanship - and have done so for almost 200 years and in the sixth generation of the family. When the small blacksmith Johann Christian Müller opened a pliers forge here in Remscheid in 1827, he had no idea what a long and successful tradition he would establish. Today, we supply electronics engineers throughout Germany and other European countries with tools that meet the highest standards. And even though they are no longer made by hand, but in largely automated production processes, we have not forgotten that precision craftsmanship is our top priority. We subject every tool that leaves our factory to rigorous testing. CIMCO Werkzeuge GmbH & Co. KG sets the highest safety standards for its VDE screwdrivers. Because when working with live electrical equipment, electricians must always be able to rely on the tools used to fulfil all safety requirements. In addition to the mandatory DIN standards, CIMCO screwdrivers are also subject to stringent in-house testing in a water bath at 10,000 V AC. All screwdrivers are suitable for use at 1,000 V AC.
For all common drives
Depending on the requirements, electronics engineers must be able to use different screw drives: From classic slotted drives to PH and PZ cross-slotted drives and Torx through to plus/minus profiles. Ergonomic and resistant
The handle, which is manufactured in a 3-component injection moulding process for all variants, and its proven, ergonomic triangular handle shape, which perfectly supports the 120° angle of rotation of the human hand, is important for fatigue-free working. The curved longitudinal contour optimises the contact pressure of the hand and enables the entire handle to be enclosed. Thanks to the special composition of the three components, the screwdrivers are resistant to petrol, thinners and other chemical solvents. The plastics are also UV-resistant and ideally suited to above-average temperatures (down to -40° C).

Safety has top priority
All pliers are tested in a special, robot-controlled process at 10,000 V AC and approved for 1,000 V AC. They are labelled with the "Tested Safety - Made in Germany" seal, certified in accordance with DIN standards and VDE-tested. Handle covers with two-colour plastic dipped insulation also ensure comprehensive protection for the tradesman: if the orange layer becomes visible under the red layer due to heavy wear, this indicates that the protective function is no longer provided and the tool needs to be replaced.
Comfort comes first
Those who prioritise maximum comfort and ergonomics for their tools will opt for pliers with 2-component handles: These have soft and hard zones that are optimally adapted to the anatomy of the human hand.
