Light + Building – The World’s Leading Trade Fair for Lighting and Building Services Technology
From 8 to 13 March 2026, Light + Building will once again open its doors in Frankfurt am Main, becoming the meeting place for everyone shaping the future of lighting, building technology and connected solutions. As the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building services technology, it combines creative vision with technological innovation and shows how lighting design, electrical engineering and intelligent building systems will define the way we live tomorrow.
A reunion of the industries
Light + Building uniquely brings together technically and design-oriented luminaires, components and accessories for lighting technology, as well as electronic installations, home and building automation and modern electrical engineering. It is a trade fair exclusively for professional visitors and unites experts from all segments: architecture, lighting design, electrical trades, system integration, retail, wholesale, industry and manufacturing. With around 70% international exhibitors and almost half of visitors coming from abroad, it is one of the most important global meeting points for the industry. At the last edition in 2024, 2,169 exhibitors presented their innovations and welcomed 151,192 professional visitors from around the world.
+++ Lufthansa strike starting 12 March +++
Lufthansa will be on strike for 48 hours starting Thursday, 12 March. During this period, flight cancellations and delays may occur. Flights to the Middle East are not affected by the strike.
Lufthansa will inform its passengers in a timely manner about a corresponding replacement flight schedule as well as possible rebooking options.
Please also note that the Lufthansa counters at the City Entrance on the exhibition grounds will be closed during the strike.
