We recently designed three lenses for industrial lighting with different illumination properties but identical mounting parameters.

We offer comprehensive services including optical design of glass parts, optical simulation of already existing parts, production of prototypes as well as serial deliveries to our customers. We are equipped with own light laboratory for evaluation of photometrical data using goniophotometer.

We use soda-lime glass as well as borosilicate glass resistant to thermal shock.
Optical design is carried out using commercial software TracePro.
We design and manufacture specific surface microstructures providing suppression or elimination of undesired color effects occurring in combination with LED sources.
Our production process allows to manufacture parts up to roughly 100mm in diameter and 300grams in weight.
Our products are used in architectural lighting, industrial lighting, stage lighting and many indoor lights as well as in outdoor and street lighting.

TIR Collimators

The advantage of TIR collimator optics is its high efficiency. By placing the LED source in the cavity at the back side of the lens, almost 100% of the light source rays are collected and directed to the required area. The optical shape at the lens exiting surface allows subsequent shaping of the light beam. You can also find a large selection of TIR optics in our standard offer. Lens Arrays

Lens arrays allow accurate and efficient assembly of a large number of lenses and maintain their correct position even during vibrations or shocks. Furthermore, efficient assembly is promoted by using lens matrix when having lenses of smaller dimensions. In the matrix we can reach lenses smaller than one millimetre. 3D SCANNING AND REVERSE ENGINEERING

Our 3D scanning enables us to perform shape verification, detailed error analyses and reverse engineering including 3D model reconstruction from a physical sample. We have successfully reconstructed several optical elements. Real example from our work.

We can design optics according to your specific requirements for your application. Being glass experts and after working for more than 30 years in glass industry, we design optics with respect to manufacturing limits. Our optical simulation software TracePro enables us to work with various materials and ray data of LED sources or design laser source. We use illumination data or images of target to tune the result with respect to customer’s requirements. Result of our work is a 3D model of optical component/s and simulation results.

Once the customer is satisfied with the result in simulation we can follow by manufacturing prototypes and serial production.

Glass optics for outdoor and street lighting

Glass is the only material used and promoted by ECOGLASS bringing to its customers long-term stability of products used outdoors or in harsh industrial conditions. Glass is a material that can be recycled therefore older glass products can be returned to glass manufacturer and used as cullet. We are ready to accept back any of our products that are no longer needed at our customers and make sure they get a new chance at the glass maker.
